first taste of Cedar Lake

My first taste of Cedar Lake came in the form of very shallow water that was muddy because high winds stirred up the bottom sediments. I had to use my paddle as a pole to nich the VJ along for 400 meters before I found water deep enough to paddle through. I was extremely frustrated by this section of the lake because the wind and wave action kept blowing me north when I wanted to go southeast. Needless to say, I swore a lot at both wind and wave.
